I'm a skilled in User Experience Design using the trinity of HTML/CSS/Javascript. I utilise CSS Frameworks such as Bootstrap and Materialize for developing responsive and mobile-first websites.

I'm a skilled Full Stack Developer with a wealth of diverse life and technical experience that I bring to every project. Front-End, Back-End, Mobile Responsive, focusing on good UX/UI design/experience.

How do I do it?

I follow form as well as function. I know that the aesthetics of effective design combined with application speed, security and reliability combine to create a great user experience.

Full Stack Web Developer - Atos August 2022-Present

Working as an External Contractor for Atos, deployed to Digital Contact Team for the HMRC.

Web Developer - PalletOnline October 2021-July 2022

Creating and updating webpages for the PalletOnline website, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to create mobile first responsive webpages based on wireframes created by the marketing team. Ensuring that they are user friendly and adhere to the principles of good UX design, whilst always ensuring that the brand stays consistent throughout the site.

Full Stack Web Developer Diploma 2020-2021

Looking for a new challenge, I took voluntary redundancy from my last employment and retrained as a Full Stack Web Developer, completing a diploma in Full Stack Web Development from the Code Institute.

Whittingham Riddell Chartered Accountants 2007-2020

Working in the accounts team for thirteen years for a large accountancy and business advisory practice, providing support to the firm’s accounting function through a varied role, including credit control, sales ledger management, development of the practice management software, financial reporting and maintenance of the client database.

Marks & Spencer 2005-2007

Working as a Customer Advisor for M&S in the Food Hall in a number of stores in the West Midlands, dealing with customers and complaints, assisting in the opening of new stores in the region, training new staff, overseeing the grocery department in one of the new stores, analysing stock reports and displaying stock/merchandise to improve sales.
